We have called this new teaching initiative Strategic Tales. Through them, the aim is to discuss a topic of Strategic Management in a brief, enjoyable and fun way. It is a series of stories in which, in 1-2 pages, a problem related to business management is presented, in the form of a story, on which opinions can be expressed, discussions and/or reflections on how to deal with the situation raised.
To analyse its usefulness as a teaching tool, you can read the blog post on teaching innovation at the Rey Juan Carlos University at the following link.
The stories are ordered according to the chapter number of the book "La Dirección Estratégica de la Empresa. Teoría y Aplicaciones" and includes a reference to the topic they deal with. Strategic tales are included in the book "Fundamentals of Strategic Management", in the digital edition.
